Ingredients to Make French Toast
Eggs – 1
Bread Slices – 2 slices (Any bread of your choice, preferably a day old)
Butter – 1 tsp (You could also use Margarine or Non Stick Spray)
Ground Cinnamon – 1/4th tsp
Vanilla Extract – ½ tsp (optional)
Milk – 3 tsp
A Pinch of Salt
Additional Thing To Serve With French Toast (Optional)
Icing Sugar (for Dusting)
Maple Syrup/Golden Syrup
Fresh Berries and Whipped Cream
Directions to Make French Toast
1.) In a bowl, beat the egg using a whisk.
2.) To this add salt, cinnamon, milk, vanilla extract. Mix well.
3.) Heat a griddle pan or a skillet; add butter or non stick cooking spray. Dunk each slice of bread in the egg mixture, soaking both sides.
4.) Once the butter has melted, place the soaked bread slices on the hot griddle and cook over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
5.) Place the slices on a serving plate and dust it with icing sugar and serve hot.
You could also serve it with a generous helping of maple syrup and butter or with fresh berries like strawberries, blueberries or raspberries along with a big dollop of whipped cream.
